Role Summary

Join the Security Engineering team supporting foodpanda and its sister brands foodora and Yemeksepeti. This team ensures effective implementation of scalable security controls, integrates security into development and operations, reduces organizational risk, and satisfies audit and compliance needs.

Key Focus Areas

• Product security measures
• Enabling DevSecOps practices
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) and protecting data
• Security considerations surrounding Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Delivery of security engineering projects

Collaboration

You will coordinate closely with various teams to define, implement, verify, and continuously enhance security protections across local, regional, and platform-level environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related area
• At least 7 years in roles such as Security Engineering, Application or Cloud Security, or DevSecOps
• Comprehensive knowledge of modern security engineering across infrastructure, cloud, product & platforms
• Experience with AWS, GCP, container environments, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and security tools
• Familiarity with security technologies like SAST, DAST, CSPM, IAM, SIEM, vulnerability and secrets management
• Strong grasp of OWASP standards, secure architectures, cloud-native security, IAM, and DevSecOps approaches
• Capability to convert technical risks into clear and practical security requirements
• Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, communication, and cooperation
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, engineering-driven, collaborative atmosphere

Preferred (Non-Essential) Qualifications

• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Security+, AWS Security Specialty, or GCP Security Engineer
• Experience in sectors like e-commerce, fintech, delivery, marketplaces, or high-scale consumer tech
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, microservices architecture, API security, software supply chain protection, or platform engineering
• Exposure to AI/LLM security, AI governance, or AI-enhanced engineering workflows
• Proficiency in automation/scripting using Python, Bash, Terraform, or similar technologies
• Experience supporting cloud-native environments on a regional or global scale
