Role Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical and outcome-focused Senior Specialist to join our regional logistics team specializing in Rider Payments. This role is pivotal in shaping, analyzing, and enhancing rider payment and incentive programs across 16 varied markets. You will act as a critical link bridging strategic business objectives with operational realities, leveraging rider incentives as an essential operational tool. By using data-driven findings, you will enhance rider earnings, increase fleet satisfaction, boost overall logistics efficiency, while ensuring financial viability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine comprehensive rider payment and incentive frameworks that balance consistent strategy application across markets with allowance for local customization, while upholding financial discipline.
• Continuously assess the financial efficacy of rider payment structures, monitoring cost-per-order trends to align incentive programs with profitability goals and maintain adequate rider engagement and retention.
• Conduct deep analyses of extensive datasets to detect patterns, inefficiencies, and areas for enhancement related to rider compensation and logistics operations, translating these insights into strategic actions.
• Lead the regional deployment of advanced data science models and automation tools to improve rider payment mechanisms and operational efficiency.
• Innovate and introduce new methods to elevate rider payment systems, supporting the trial and implementation of novel pay components including dynamic pricing, surge pricing, and quest incentives to optimize logistics outcomes and order acceptance.
• Collaborate closely with Delivery Hero's Central Product team to influence payment feature development by conveying business requirements, participating in testing phases, and ensuring smooth adoption throughout the region.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, product, and local logistics. Forge strong partnerships with market teams to understand local challenges, apply optimized incentive schemes, and drive scalable solutions.

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum of three years in roles involving high-growth technology environments, logistics, strategy consulting, or investment banking, with preference for experience in gig economy models, marketplace dynamics, or logistics sectors.
• Holder of a university degree in STEM, Economics, Business, or similarly quantitative disciplines.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Looker to independently analyze data, derive insights, and construct robust models.
• Superior command of English, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to challenge existing norms confidently and engage senior leadership constructively.
