Role Overview
We are seeking a Security Architect responsible for designing and implementing security architectures across intricate enterprise IT environments. The role involves direct collaboration with clients and technical teams to develop security strategies, create architectural designs, and support execution and deployment phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to gather security requirements and convert them into effective, feasible security solutions.
- Create High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), solution architecture documentation, and define security standards.
- Lead architecture reviews, technology evaluations, and run design workshops to ensure solution robustness.
- Remain actively involved during implementation, troubleshooting issues, and validating technical solutions.
- Contribute to the development of security strategies, roadmap planning, and risk mitigation enhancements.
- Offer expert technical advice to clients and internal teams throughout projects.
- Assist in defining solution scope and drafting Statements of Work when necessary.
Experience and Skills Required
- Hands-on expertise with two or more of the following technologies: Palo Alto, Microsoft Sentinel, Entra ID/Active Directory/PAM, Cortex XDR, Tanium, NetScaler WAF, Azure WAF, Proofpoint, PKI, CASB, Airlock Digital.
- Proven experience designing security solutions that are deployed in live production environments.
- Strong capability in architecture development and producing comprehensive technical documentation.
- Experience leading client discovery and architectural design discussions.
- Knowledge of Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) Essential Eight and Zero Trust security models.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in complex enterprise or critical infrastructure environments is advantageous.
