Role Overview

The School Nurse plays a vital role in delivering holistic health services that support students’ physical, emotional, mental, and social well-being within the school environment. This position involves collaborating closely with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to address each student's medical needs and enable full participation in school life.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant will be adaptable to a dynamic international setting, holding a university degree in nursing alongside a valid nursing license from their home country and accreditation by the Qatar Council for Health Practitioners (QCHP). Fluency in both English and Arabic (written and verbal) is essential, with at least 3 years' experience as a school nurse preferred. Candidates must meet Qatar's visa requirements, including possessing a bachelor's degree, and ideally be under husband or family sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide health care services tailored to student needs, especially those with chronic conditions.
• Maintain precise and comprehensive health records and documentation.
• Manage and support pediatric and school health initiatives.
• Collaborate efficiently with students, school staff, parents, and external health providers.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and professional interaction skills.
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced school environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Registered Nurse with valid Qatar Council for Health Practitioners license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Experience in pediatric, community health, or school nursing.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
