Job description

Role Overview

Join Agilent Technologies, a global leader in life sciences and diagnostics, as a Scheduling Co-Ordinator based onsite in Innishannon, West Cork. You will be a vital component in pharmaceutical operations, ensuring service delivery and scheduling are executed efficiently to support groundbreaking scientific discoveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and coordinate maintenance appointments for laboratory equipment.
  • Serve as the primary contact for vendors during onsite services, handling permits and facilitating service engineer visits.
  • Act as the main customer contact for scheduling or operational inquiries.
  • Participate in operational calls and customer meetings while managing a large volume of emails effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer assets and inventories.
  • Track performance metrics to guarantee maintenance and repairs meet agreed timelines, minimizing disruptions to onsite activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members while demonstrating commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Schedule inductions and gather necessary documentation such as RAMS and certifications.
  • Manage repair requests to reduce instrument downtime.
  • Oversee the shipment and tracking of off-site instruments.
  • Compile vendor service reports and upload them to customer CMMS software, including closing related work orders.
  • Adhere to customer gowning and PPE protocols when working in clean room environments and laboratories.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Third-level qualification preferred; a background in science is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated strong administrative capabilities.
  • Excellent planning, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills combined with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Experience with scheduling software such as SAP and Smart Sheet is highly desirable.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach with a dedication to delivering high service standards.

Additional Information

  • Work location: Onsite in Innishannon, West Cork.
  • Contract type: Independent contractor through a limited company (LTD) or umbrella company.
  • Contract length: 12 months initial term.
  • Hourly pay rate: €24 per hour.
  • Personal car is required for this role.
  • Applicants must currently reside in Ireland and hold either an EU Passport or Stamp 4 permission.
