About the Role

As a SAS Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing the SAS data warehouse environments, ensuring their smooth operation, and planning future enhancements. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor the SAS system landscape to guarantee uninterrupted SAS operations and ensure daily batch processing runs seamlessly.
- Perform routine system maintenance including applying system updates, SAS hotfixes, and security patches to maintain system reliability.
- Implement necessary adjustments and improvements in existing and new SAS environments; plan and execute new SAS installations along with enforcing security requirements.
- Thoroughly document all activities and solutions in collaboration platforms such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Teams to facilitate transparency and team communication.
- Approach complex issues with a solution-focused mindset by breaking down problems, identifying errors, and resolving them while maintaining an overall perspective.
Candidate Profile
- Education: A completed degree in a STEM-related field or equivalent practical experience is required.
- Experience: Proven extensive experience in the administration, operation, and advancement of SAS system landscapes.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SAS Business Intelligence, SAS Visual Analytics, with initial experience in SAS Viya. Familiarity with operating systems like RedHat Enterprise Linux, IBM AIX, Windows Client/Server, and scheduling systems such as IBM LSF or Broadcom Automic is essential. Additional knowledge of Kubernetes clusters and related cloud services is a plus.

- Communication: Excellent service and customer-oriented communication skills delivered in a clear and friendly manner.
