SAP RE-FX Functional Consultant

We are hiring a SAP RE-FX Functional Consultant to join a prominent Big 4 consulting firm serving an end client in the oil and gas sector. The position is a hybrid role located in Pune, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, or Kolkata, requiring on-site presence 2 to 3 days per week with working hours from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement SAP S/4HANA RE-FX for managing real estate assets such as gas stations, retail sites, leases, and land portfolios.
• Handle hands-on configuration of SAP RE-FX including master data, contract management, valuations, periodic postings, and financial integrations.
• Lead requirements gathering and solution design workshops with business stakeholders.
• Develop detailed functional specifications and collaborate closely with ABAP and development teams to support custom enhancements.
• Interpret business needs into scalable SAP solutions, advising where configuration suffices versus customization.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 2 full lifecycle SAP RE-FX implementations, with minimum 1 involving SAP S/4HANA.
• Proven expertise in SAP RE-FX configuration including master data, contract management, conditions, adjustment rules, valuations, sales-based rents, escalations, and service charge settlements (SCS).
• Strong knowledge of SAP Lease Accounting and IFRS 16 configurations, including parallel valuation methods.
• Experience integrating SAP RE-FX with FI/CO modules.
• Ability to author functional specifications for RICEFW components and engage directly with business teams.
• Graduate level education is required.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience in the Oil & Gas or Utilities sectors.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori user interfaces within RE-FX contexts.
• Background in Embedded Analytics or Core Data Services (CDS) reporting.
• Technical or development experience such as ABAP programming.
• Knowledge of retail, land, or real estate portfolio support.

Additional Information

• This is a senior consultant role expected to independently manage SAP RE-FX configuration and articulate solutions clearly to business partners.
• The project is midway through its build phase with high-level solution design already established.
• The position requires hybrid on-site attendance 2 to 3 days weekly, at listed city locations.
