About the Role
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) invites experienced professionals to join as SAP EAM Developers based in Kolkata. This role focuses on developing and enhancing solutions around SAP Enterprise Asset Management and Plant Maintenance modules within an SAP landscape.
Core Responsibilities
- Create and improve SAP EAM and Plant Maintenance functionalities tailored to client requirements.
- Design and develop custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflow elements, collectively referred to as RICEF objects.
- Develop ABAP applications including object-oriented ABAP, CDS Views, OData Services, and SAP Fiori apps aligned with EAM business needs.
- Configure and provide support for connectivity and integration between SAP EAM and various modules such as SAP MM, SD, FI/CO, PS, MRS, and SAP Asset Manager (mobile platform).
- Build and maintain SAP workflow processes addressing maintenance notifications, work orders, and approval procedures.
- Conduct technical impact assessments and devise appropriate solution designs.
- Support the complete project lifecycle including implementation, rollouts, migrations, production support, testing, bug fixing, and deployment efforts.
- Work collaboratively with functional consultants and business stakeholders to ensure effective solutions.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum education of 15 years of full-time study is mandatory.
- Extensive expertise in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules.
- In-depth understanding of asset management concepts such as equipment master data, functional locations, maintenance notifications, work orders, preventive maintenance, and planning.
- Technical proficiency in ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP programming.
- Experienced in creating various SAP reports including ALV reports, enhancements, user exits, BADI, and BAPI interfaces.
- Skilled in developing Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, RFCs, interfaces, workflows, IDocs, proxies, and web services.
Additional Information
- Interview format: Face-to-face on September 12th, from 9 AM to 2 PM in Kolkata.
- Experience required ranges between 5 to 12 years.
