SAP ABAP Consultant

About the Role

This position focuses on the design, development, testing, and deployment of SAP ABAP-based applications. The consultant will utilize various SAP development tools like Adobe Forms, SmartForms, BAPIs, OData services, ALV reports, Batch Communication Objects (BCAs), and Batch Data Communication (BDCs) to create robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP ABAP programs tailored to business requirements using a range of SAP technologies.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to gather and analyze business needs ensuring solutions align with customer expectations.
• Build complex ABAP programs from the ground up or optimize existing code to enhance system performance and efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to ABAP development in production environments.
• Engage in project planning by providing effort estimations and contributing to project schedules.

Candidate Profile and Expertise

• 5 to 9 years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development, with strong command over ABAP/4 programming language.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline such as B.C.A. or B.Com.
• Comprehensive understanding of Core Data Services (CDS) views, Adobe and SmartForms, Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs), and Business Add-Ins (BADIs).
• Proven ability to develop OData services leveraging SAP ABAP framework.

Additional Information

The job location is Hyderabad, India. The company is Infosys located at their Bangalore address. The role requires onsite work.
