Job Overview
The Automation Test Engineer role is a full-time position based in Chennai, with openings in multiple cities including Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. Candidates with 2 to 13 years of experience are sought to join the team.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Utilize extensive software testing experience focusing on web automation testing.
- Demonstrate hands-on proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver and Playwright for web applications.
- Develop automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, and the Page Object Model approach.
- Apply strong Java programming abilities in framework development.
- Work knowledgeably with testing and build tools including TestNG, JUnit, Maven, Gradle, and version control systems like Git.
- Integrate with continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Follow Agile principles and have familiarity with software development and testing life cycles (SDLC/STLC).
- Conduct API testing with tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or Swagger.
- Manage defects using tools like JIRA or Azure Boards.
- Perform cross-browser, regression, functional, and end-to-end automated tests.
- Design, execute, and maintain scalable and reliable automated test suites.
- Exhibit strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and clear communication throughout testing activities.
