Salesperson

Role Overview

This full-time position requires the Salesperson to be physically present at the Albustan store in Khamīs Mushayţ. The primary function is direct engagement with customers, aiming to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products and services effectively.

Key Duties

• Greet customers promptly and assess their requirements to suggest relevant products and services.
• Explain product features, pricing details and complete sales transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Handle cash or electronic payments and issue receipts responsibly.
• Maintain appealing product displays, ensure timely restocking, and keep the sales floor orderly and clean.
• Follow established company sales protocols and strive to achieve individual and team sales goals.
• Address basic customer inquiries and complaints, escalating matters as necessary.
• Provide management with customer feedback and market insight trends.
• Collaborate with team members to support promotional activities and store events.

Qualifications and Skills

• Effective communication skills, including active listening and courteous customer interaction.
• Understanding of fundamental sales approaches such as upselling, cross-selling, and closing techniques within retail or similar sectors.
• Experience or comfort working with cash registers, POS devices, and maintaining accurate sales documentation.
• Good organizational ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously during busy periods.
• Physical stamina to stand or move around during shifts and assist with stocking and product placement.
• Dependability, punctuality, and adherence to company policies including ethical standards.
• Basic literacy and numeracy; prior exposure to sales or customer service roles is beneficial.
• Openness to learning comprehensive product details.
