Role Overview

The Salesforce Technical Architect will lead the technical design of a complex, integration-intensive Salesforce program for a major enterprise client within Saudi Arabia. Responsible for the entire Salesforce architecture and its connected systems, the role requires ensuring solutions meet both business objectives and technical requirements.

This is a hands-on leadership position involving guiding development teams and actively participating in technical designs, solution evaluations, and implementations across functional, technical, integration, and data streams. Communication with business and IT stakeholders in both Arabic and English is essential. Strong expertise in Salesforce and system integration, combined with a continuous learning mindset, is vital.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end Salesforce architecture across Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, Data Cloud, and industry-specific clouds.
• Translate business needs into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Create and assess integration strategies between Salesforce and external systems utilizing APIs, middleware, and event-driven methods.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards for scalability, security, and system performance.
• Oversee development through design reviews and enforcement of best practices and code quality.
• Establish API protocols and data modeling standards, including canonical data models.
• Assist pre-sales teams by contributing to solution formulation, estimating efforts, and advising on architecture.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, such as entity-relationship diagrams, sequence flows, data mappings, and architectural blueprints.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in designing and delivering robust Salesforce architectures.
• Capability to articulate and justify technical design decisions to varied stakeholders.
• Comfortable client engagement to develop technical solutions aligned with business strategies.
• Fluent in both Arabic (preferred) and English, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical topics.
• Experienced mentor and reviewer for development teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Committed to owning architecture comprehensively, validating designs, and documenting decisions throughout projects.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform limitations, security frameworks, deployment models, and performance optimization.
• Strong background in integration technologies including RESTful APIs, middleware, and batch or real-time interfaces.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and Salesforce release management.
• Utilization of AI tools like Claude Code to enhance design and development lifecycle while ensuring safe deployment of changes.
• Ability to strategize data migrations among Salesforce clouds and verify data accuracy and completeness during migrations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Over eight years of client-facing consulting experience specializing in Salesforce architecture and solution design.
• At least eight years of practical experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, and MuleSoft. Experience with Marketing Cloud is desirable.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English.
• Located in or willing to relocate to Riyadh or Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
• Proven experience working in interdisciplinary project teams to deliver secure, scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Strong system documentation skills including ER diagrams, process and sequence flows.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing scalable integration patterns with external systems.
• Relevant Salesforce certifications such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce, and Salesforce Architect domain certifications (e.g., Application Architect or System Architect).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies including effort estimation and planning within multi-disciplinary teams.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with event streaming technologies like Kafka or Confluent including usage of consumer groups, Schema Registry, and data serialization formats like Avro or JSON.
• Expertise in data transformation and mapping from complex data formats such as nested JSON and EDIFACT into canonical relational models.
• Familiarity with Data Cloud, MuleSoft, Field Service, or Revenue Cloud implementations.
• Previous project delivery experience in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
