About the Role

The Salesforce Administrator Specialist is integral to our SaaS enterprise, supporting business users and cross-team collaboration by delivering proactive assistance, comprehensive training, and system enhancements that improve operational efficiency and scalable growth. This role works closely with departments such as Sales, Marketing, Service, and Finance to refine Salesforce functionalities and align them with the evolving demands of a SaaS environment. Key responsibilities include managing and customizing core Salesforce platforms like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, and Communities, upholding data integrity, streamlining workflows, and facilitating release cycles.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide daily support and training to end-users to improve Salesforce proficiency and adoption across various teams.
• Diagnose system issues, generate reports, enhance business workflows, and maintain relevant system documentation and custom configurations.
• Collaborate with leadership to assess business requirements, develop technical specifications, and configure Salesforce to support custom applications and efficient processes.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables while working with cross-functional teams; research and evaluate Salesforce native features and third-party managed packages for strategic solutions.
• Administer and tailor Salesforce modules including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Knowledge, and Community Applications; oversee user access controls, automate processes using Flow, and provide expertise in advanced reporting and dashboards.
• Lead Salesforce CPQ efforts by configuring and refining contracts, quotes, orders, products, pricing, and related elements in line with evolving business needs and industry best practices.
• Handle data management activities such as imports, cleansing, deduplication, and optimization; improve Salesforce performance and integration with both internal and external systems.
• Occasionally participate in domestic travel to attend onsite team meetings, customer events, industry conferences, or training sessions, encompassing various transportation modes including air travel and local transit.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Demonstrated business analysis and functional expertise, including requirements gathering.
• Proficient in balancing multiple priorities, managing projects, and fostering teamwork across departments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for project coordination and collaboration.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce reporting tools, dashboards, and data visualization methods.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and skill in root cause analysis.
• Experience delivering end-user training and producing documentation.
• Ability to perform accurately in a dynamic, fast-moving workplace with shifting priorities.
• Commitment to data accuracy, configuration precision, and thorough documentation.
• Proactive approach to anticipating challenges and identifying opportunities for process enhancement.
• At least 2 years of Salesforce experience with a minimum of 1 year working full-time on CPQ functionalities.
• Functional understanding of Salesforce Flow and third-party integrations such as DocuSign and Conga.
• Experience with SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language) is advantageous.
• Knowledge or experience with PEO, ASO, or HCM systems is a plus.
• Participation in the Salesforce Trailblazer Community is beneficial.
• Experience in Visualforce, Lightning Components, Aura Components, and Apex development is an added advantage.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience, skills, or certifications preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (including Teams and Excel) and aptitude for learning additional software tools.
