Sales & Marketing Engineer

Overview

Onesta Engineering Service, an ISO certified independent third-party inspection organization, is seeking a Sales & Marketing Engineer to join their Mumbai team. The role focuses on business development, sales, and marketing of engineering equipment, systems, and related services. The goal is to acquire new customers as well as retain and grow the existing client base to drive overall business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate business leads and acquire new clients.
• Manage and nurture the sales funnel effectively.
• Prepare proposals, follow up diligently, and finalize deals based on enquiries.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers.
• Create and deliver compelling presentations showcasing the company's value proposition.
• Handle all technical aspects related to request for proposals (RFP) and request for information (RFI) responses.
• Conduct competitive intelligence gathering and documentation.
• Maintain customer relationship management and oversee key accounts.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess an engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Metallurgy, Production, or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Sales or Marketing Engineer with a demonstrated history of selling engineering products or services.
• Proven success in dealing with OEMs, EPCs, and end users.
• Strong professional network within the engineering industry.
• Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with senior executives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in addition to strong presentation and creative skills.
• Willingness to travel as the business requires.
