Job description
Role Overview
As a Sales Analyst under the guidance of a Director of Sales Development, your primary responsibility is to identify and cultivate prospective clients, thereby delivering valuable leads to the Sales Team for Nasdaq Verafin.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate daily proactive calls to discover potential sales opportunities.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for new leads and determine subsequent engagement steps.
- Identify challenges faced by financial institutions where Verafin’s solutions can add value.
- Locate key decision-makers and nurture enduring relationships.
- Design targeted campaigns aimed at future purchasing prospects.
- Collaborate closely with fellow Sales Development Representatives, exchanging ideas and participating in training to achieve Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least two years of experience in prospecting and conducting outbound cold calls.
- Proficiency in detecting prospect requirements and building firm relationships.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently reaching sales goals.
- Comfort engaging with individuals across organizational levels, including executives at the C-suite level.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software tools.
Preferred Attributes
- Understanding of the financial sector or software industry is advantageous.
- Experience with prospecting platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator is desirable.
Work Environment and Location
This role can be based in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador or Toronto with a hybrid work setup, requiring presence at least three days a week in the office, subject to change, offering adaptable working conditions.
