Role Overview
This Sales Development Representative (SDR) position supports our Global HR Platform by engaging incoming queries and helping clients optimize Remote’s product suite to meet their employment requirements. This team embodies transparency through a fair pricing guarantee.
Key Responsibilities
- Responding to, engaging, and qualifying outbound leads and inquiries
- Identifying new sales prospects and booking meetings for Account Executives
- Effectively communicating Remote's value propositions and assessing prospect needs
- Supporting the Account Executive team as required
- Educating and nurturing prospects up to hand-off to sales teams
- Generating targeted prospect lists and penetrating significant accounts
- Conducting cold outreach via calls to prospects from various sources
- Researching stakeholders, gathering business requirements, and initiating sales cycles with solution presentations
Candidate Profile
- Proven business development track record utilizing sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, and Lusha
- Previous experience as an SDR within a B2B SaaS technology company
- Skilled negotiator with persuasive selling capabilities
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, excellent listening abilities, and a positive, energetic phone demeanor
- Strategic and tactical thinker with resilience in facing rejection or criticism
- Strong urgency for meeting goals, proactive with initiative and new ideas
- Highly self-motivated and diligent work ethic
- Fluent in English; remote work experience is advantageous but not mandatory

Compensation & Benefits
Remote offers a fair and equitable compensation approach that pays above local market rates, avoiding cheap-labor practices. The on-target earnings range for this role is $31,500 to $70,950 USD annually, with the base salary forming 70% of total compensation. Pay scales depend on location, skills, experience, and business needs and may be adjusted over time.
