About the Role
Komodo Wellbeing is seeking two Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join their go-to-market team located in Christchurch, New Zealand. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals early in their careers who are eager to grow quickly, take ownership, and contribute meaningfully to enhancing wellbeing in education globally. The role focuses on initiating contact with prospective schools worldwide, generating interest, and scheduling quality demonstration meetings with school leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the beginning stages of the sales funnel, including prospect research, initial outreach, and qualified lead handover.
- Execute targeted outbound campaigns via email, phone calls, and LinkedIn.
- Prepare and maintain lists of target accounts and contacts for outreach activities.
- Conduct qualification calls with precision and curiosity to effectively onboard schools onto the Komodo platform.
- Schedule demos for Account Executives with seamless transitions.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, notes, and engagement utilizing HubSpot and Gong.
- Engage in ongoing personal development through training and reflective review using Gong.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance outreach efficiency and effectiveness.
- Incorporate feedback and coaching to refine sales techniques.
Candidate Profile
- 0 to 2 years of experience in an SDR, BDR, or outbound sales role, with a strong willingness to learn.
- Highly motivated by achieving goals and thrives on hitting targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Curious problem-solver with a growth mindset.
- Team-oriented with a commitment to overall company growth and sales strategy development.
- Passionate about continuous learning and self-improvement.
- Organized, independent, yet collaborative and eager to learn within a team environment.
- Deep commitment to advancing school wellbeing on a global scale.
- Proactive in identifying and improving internal sales processes and systems.
- Regularly integrates AI into daily work routines and open to adopting new operational methods.
- Based in Christchurch and willing to work flexible hours, including late starts (from 11 am onward) to engage international clients.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Gong, or similar software is advantageous but not mandatory.
Compensation and Perks
- Base salary of NZD 50,000 per year plus uncapped commission earnings.
