Role Overview
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will manage the initial stages of the sales pipeline, focusing on outreach targeting independent lettings and estate agencies throughout the UK. This role is London-based and requires presence in the office four days a week.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of outbound sales efforts by contacting targeted potential clients primarily within the property management sector across the UK.
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls, complemented by email and LinkedIn communication, to engage owners and decision-makers.
- Identify and qualify customer pain points and opportunities to secure product demonstrations booked into the sales team’s schedule.
- Collaborate in refining sales strategies by feeding insights into scripts, sequences, objection handling, and qualification standards.
- Contribute actively to shaping and improving the outbound sales approach.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in outbound sales roles such as Sales Development Representative or Business Development with demonstrated cold calling ability.
- Capability to engage and build relationships with senior stakeholders and navigate gatekeepers effectively.
- Strong qualification skills, discerning genuine client challenges to tailor engagement.
- Proficiency using phone, email, and LinkedIn as integral tools within a structured sales process.
- Resilience and motivation to manage rejection in a cold outreach environment.
- Adaptable and coachable to incorporate feedback swiftly.
- Excellent communication skills and relationship-building aptitude.
- Keen interest in AI and emerging technologies.
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with AI tools, large language models (LLMs), automation, or prompt-based workflows is highly advantageous.
- Drive and ambition to advance towards a closing sales position.
