Role Overview
The Sales Development Representative role is a full-time, on-location position based in London. The primary focus is to uncover and qualify new business prospects mainly through outbound calls, emails, and social networking directed at small to medium-sized businesses. This position involves nurturing leads, scheduling discovery meetings for the sales team, and maintaining detailed records of communications and pipeline progress using CRM software.
Daily Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research on targeted accounts to understand their travel requirements.
- Present Corporate Traveller UK's offerings to prospective clients effectively.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing departments to improve lead generation initiatives.
- Achieve assigned activity and conversion objectives consistently.
- Contribute insights gathered from prospect interactions to refine sales strategies.
- Maintain a dynamic and customer-oriented sales environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in inside sales and front-line sales activities, capable of progressing leads through the sales funnel.
- Skilled in lead generation and business development, including account research and identifying growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills enabling clear solution presentations and rapport building via phone, email, and video.
- Proficiency in using CRM platforms and sales engagement tools to track pipeline and activities.
- Ability to meet and exceed measurable KPIs within a fast-paced commercial setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills attentive to detail.
- Experience in travel, hospitality, or B2B sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Relevant academic qualifications or comparable professional background in sales, business, or related disciplines.
