Role Overview
This position offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Representative (BDR) with approximately 12 to 18 months of experience in SaaS, technology, or a relevant B2B sales environment. Joining the London sales team, the candidate will collaborate closely with the Head of Sales and senior sales personnel to identify and engage potential clients, qualify leads, and schedule impactful product demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential customers in the EMEA, APAC, and US markets.
- Perform high-volume outbound outreach via phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn contacts.
- Engage with senior decision-makers to understand their business needs.
- Qualify prospects and produce high-value sales leads.
- Schedule product demonstrations for the senior sales team members.
- Maintain accurate prospect and activity records in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to enhance messaging and outreach tactics.
- Develop expertise in financial markets, alternative investments, and FinTech technologies.
Candidate Requirements
- Between 12 and 18 months of experience in BDR, SDR, business development, or equivalent outbound sales roles within SaaS, technology, or related B2B sectors.
- Confident in initiating contact and communicating with senior prospects via phone.
- Comfortable utilizing email and LinkedIn as part of a multi-channel sales strategy.
- Ambitious, resilient, commercially aware, and eager to progress beyond the BDR role.
- Experience in financial services or FinTech is advantageous but not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary ranging from 35000 to 40000 annually.
- On-target earnings (OTE) between 55000 and 65000 with unlimited commission potential.
