About the Role

Join us as a Sales Development Representative (SDR), serving as the essential initial contact in the sales funnel. Your responsibilities will include qualifying leads and identifying promising opportunities through strategic conversations, primarily by scheduling product demos and conducting discovery calls, paving the way for Account Executives to close deals successfully.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new business prospects via outbound calls and emails.
  • Learn and apply our sales processes and technology to manage daily tasks and sales pipeline efficiently.
  • Qualify leads through discovery discussions and arrange demonstrations for Account Executives.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to craft and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Engage in ongoing sales skill development through coaching and constructive feedback.

Role Requirements

  • Between zero to four years of experience in a corporate environment; recent graduates and professionals transitioning careers with a passion for sales are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities, demonstrating mastery over scheduling and task prioritization.
  • Quick adaptability to new technologies with eagerness to learn sales tools.
  • A results-driven mindset with a high sense of urgency and motivation to exceed goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and convincingly articulate ideas.
  • Coachability and openness to feedback, committed to continuous growth and improvement.

Training and Onboarding

  • Comprehensive orientation and enablement program tailored to SDR success during the first month.
  • In-depth training covering core SDR duties, trade industry landscape, client profiles, and our technology stack including Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, and ChiliPiper.
  • Integration into the SDR team and collaboration with stakeholders from various departments.
  • Personalized development with one-on-one call coaching, role-play exercises, hands-on learning with management, and actionable feedback.

Work Schedule and Location

If located within approximately 40 miles of our Toronto hub office, attendance onsite 1-2 days per week is required.

Compensation Details

The expected hourly wage for Canadian candidates is $27 CAD, complemented by a variable commission scheme. Actual salary varies based on skills, experience, and other factors. The total compensation package includes equity and benefits.
