Role Purpose
We are seeking a motivated, result-driven team member to join our expanding sales force as a Sales Development Representative (SDR). This role focuses on prospecting and qualifying leads to generate sales opportunities. You will serve as the initial point of contact for potential clients, effectively communicating OFX’s value proposition and illustrating how our products and services can improve financial operations, money management, and spend control for businesses. This position suits recent graduates or individuals early in their sales career who possess a strong commercial mindset and who wish to embark on or advance their sales profession.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new sales prospects through outbound outreach activities to expand the sales funnel.
- Conduct detailed research on potential clients based on leads from sales operations.
- Execute high-volume outreach efforts via telephone, email, and LinkedIn Navigator.
- Present OFX products and services persuasively to quickly demonstrate value to prospects.
- Qualify leads and arrange meetings for Business Development Managers.
- Update and maintain accurate client relationship records within Salesforce.
- Stay current with OFX’s product offerings and service developments.
- Consistently meet or exceed goals related to qualifying viable prospects.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Prior roles involving direct customer interaction and/or sales are preferred. Experience in SaaS or financial services sectors is considered advantageous.
- Education: A post-secondary degree or diploma in a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Motivation: Proven dedication to making over 50 outbound calls daily with persistence and a competitive drive.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
- Organization: Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and maintaining efficiency.
- Attention to Detail: Capable of precise forecasting and record keeping.
- Communication: Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills complemented by active listening and quick rapport building.
- Problem-Solving: Skilled at identifying customer needs and proposing appropriate solutions.
