EngageTech is a globally recognized technology firm specializing in revolutionizing B2B lead generation. We equip Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and sales teams with powerful solutions designed to enhance connection with prospects and expedite business growth. Our core offerings include Outsourced SDR Teams, Augmented SDR Teams, and Managed SDR Services. Originating in London, we have expanded internationally across eight offices, including locations in the US, Australia, South Africa, and Europe. EngageTech is proudly acknowledged as a Top 50 company in the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For.

Role Overview

The SDR position at EngageTech places you at the forefront of the sales pipeline, enabling you to generate new business opportunities for clients. The role involves initiating dialogues with business leaders from diverse industries and developing effective communication and prospecting skills in a dynamic environment. Comprehensive three-month training is provided, focusing on skill development from day one, enabling commission earnings early on. Previous sales experience is not mandatory; we prioritize hiring driven, adaptable individuals eager to learn and excel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently initiating outbound prospecting activities, primarily through high-frequency cold calling, to generate new business dialogues.
  • Engaging business executives across a spectrum of industries, ranging from startups to multinational corporations.
  • Conducting discovery calls to identify and understand potential client objectives, needs, and pain points.
  • Managing outreach activities efficiently to maintain organization within a fast-moving sales context.
  • Collaborating effectively with internal teams, managers, and clients to exchange knowledge and celebrate achievements.
  • Representing EngageTech with professionalism and authenticity as an initial point of contact for prospects.

Why Join This Role?

  • Gain continual learning opportunities and professional development guided by expert sales leaders committed to your success.
  • Access clear pathways for career advancement, with frequent promotions occurring within the first 12 to 18 months.
  • Experience exposure to a diverse array of sectors, technologies, and sales strategies that foster foundational business expertise.
  • Work within a supportive team environment emphasizing resilience, persistence, learning, and personal growth rather than solely results.
  • Develop essential and transferable capabilities in communication, business development, organizational skills, and relationship management.
  • Become part of an inclusive culture that values a variety of perspectives, backgrounds, and individual experiences.
  • Join a vibrant work atmosphere where achievements, regardless of scale, are celebrated enthusiastically.

Candidate Profile

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capacity to maintain optimism and persistence when facing obstacles.
  • Strong organizational aptitude with a keen attention to detail.
  • Genuine interest in business operations, technology trends, and company growth dynamics.
  • Receptive to coaching with a readiness to refine skills via feedback and repetition.
  • Competitive spirit derived from academic, athletic, leadership, work, or personal pursuits.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in teams while independently managing personal objectives.

Benefits & Perks

  • Personal development investment featuring tailored progression plans to fulfill career goals.
  • Unlimited commission potential.
  • Flexible working arrangement combining in-office sociability and remote work opportunities.
  • Early finish on Fridays to support work-life balance.
  • Comprehensive three-month SDR training program designed to unlock career potential.
  • Access to mental health resources including chat-based therapy services.
  • Opportunities to travel, work, and learn across our global offices in cities such as London, Stockholm, Edinburgh, and Cape Town.
  • Provision of essential work equipment, including new laptops.
  • Quarterly incentives like exclusive Michelin dining experiences through the ‘Diamond Club’.
  • Company-organized incentive trips, including destinations like Bali.
  • Active Women in Tech initiatives and Diversity & Inclusion programs.
  • Eligibility for sabbatical leave following one year of service.
  • Generous annual leave allotment of 25 days.
