Role Overview
The Sales Development Associate will join KEV's sales team to engage potential clients and drive business growth. You will be responsible for initiating relationships, understanding client needs, scheduling meetings, and working closely with both sales and marketing to develop robust lead-generation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or surpass monthly targets for qualified leads within assigned territories.
- Conduct research to identify and engage decision makers among prospective clients.
- Maintain and grow the prospect database in your designated area.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and sales/marketing teams to create and execute large-scale lead-generation campaigns with customized messaging.
- Perform daily outbound calls to prospects and arrange meetings sourced from inbound and outbound leads.
- Convey KEV’s mission and unique advantages clearly to potential clients.
- Follow up consistently to nurture interest in KEV's product suite.
- Keep detailed records of all communications and activities using Salesforce.
- Provide feedback on prospect responses including message effectiveness, needs, and competitive insights.
- Generate appointments via proactive outbound outreach.
- Partner with sales and marketing to uncover further opportunities from leads.
- Exhibit and coach effective selling and persuasion techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least one year of compelling experience in software business development or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work independently and manage time effectively.
