Role Overview
The Junior Account Executive position is an integral part of KEV's sales team, focusing on fostering relationships with potential clients and driving business growth. This role involves meeting scheduling, prospecting, and close collaboration with sales and marketing departments to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or surpass monthly goals for qualified leads within the assigned region.
- Conduct research on prospective clients, identify key decision-makers, and stimulate initial interest.
- Grow and maintain the prospect database for the designated territory.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and the sales/marketing team to plan and execute expansive lead generation campaigns targeting decision-makers with customized messaging.
- Make daily calls to prospects, qualify them, and arrange meetings for Account Executives from both incoming and outgoing leads.
- Articulate KEV’s mission and unique value propositions to potential clients.
- Follow up with current and potential clients to boost interest in KEV’s range of products.
- Record all communications and activities in Salesforce.
- Provide feedback on prospect messages, including insights about messaging effectiveness, prospect needs, and competitor information.
- Generate appointments proactively through outbound prospecting.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing to uncover lead-driven opportunities.
- Demonstrate and cultivate strong selling and influencing capabilities.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor’s degree or similar experience.
- Has at least 2 years of experience in software business development.
- Exhibits excellent communication skills.
- Works effectively with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates outstanding time management skills.
