Job description

Overview

The Sales Coordinator will handle administrative and communication tasks supporting the Sales & Marketing department at a luxury hotel property in Abu Dhabi. This key role involves preparing and managing sales documents such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders, while fostering internal and external brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical duties including filing, email correspondence, typing, faxing, and copying to support sales efforts.
  • Prepare documentation related to sales processes such as proposals, contracts, and event orders.
  • Compile and organize informational packages comprising brochures and promotional content.
  • Utilize effective sales strategies to enhance revenue while sustaining guest loyalty to the Marriott brand.
  • Manage data entry, retrieval, reconciliation, and verification of sales-related information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) using relevant sales software.
  • Respond to guest inquiries regarding property amenities, rates, packages, restaurant options, events, and more.
  • Act as a liaison for clients through telephone and email communications, addressing questions and requests promptly.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies, maintain professionalism in appearance, and ensure confidentiality of proprietary data.
  • Deliver excellent guest reception and anticipate service needs in line with Ritz-Carlton’s renowned standards.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication in both oral and written forms, including telephone etiquette.
  • Support collaboration and positive workplace relationships, assisting team efforts to meet shared objectives.
  • Comply fully with quality assurance standards and related expectations.
  • Handle physical tasks involving light lifting or moving of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum education level of high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least one year of relevant professional experience in a similar capacity.
  • No prior supervisory responsibilities required.
  • No specific licenses or certifications necessary.

Additional Information

This position is full-time and non-management, situated at the office located in Al Maqta Area, Abu Dhabi.
