Role Summary

The Sales Associate will be tasked with ensuring an outstanding on-site customer experience while contributing to the achievement of sales objectives. This role requires an understanding of customer requirements, skillful product recommendations, comprehensive product knowledge, and maintaining high standards of store presentation and operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome customers and assist them in identifying their needs and preferences.
• Provide superior customer service by informing about products, suggesting alternatives, and engaging in cross-selling and upselling.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the product assortment, current promotions, and brand campaigns.
• Professionally address customer questions and complaints, escalating issues as necessary.
• Consistently meet and surpass personal and store sales KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Ensure merchandise presentation and replenishment aligns with visual merchandising standards.
• Keep the store and fitting areas clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Manage stock processes including receipt, pricing, and storage of products.
• Participate in stock-taking, inventory audits, and report irregularities.
• Operate the Point of Sale system competently, handling transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately.
• Handle cash and card payments following company procedures.
• Actively join team discussions, sales meetings, and product training to stay synchronized with store goals.
• Promptly communicate operational issues, customer feedback, or product concerns to the Store Manager for ongoing improvements.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in retail sales or customer service, ideally within premium retail, marine, sports, or lifestyle sectors.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer engagement skills.
• Confident, assertive sales approach aimed at meeting targets.
• Strong aptitude for learning product information, especially marine and leisure items.
• Capability to assess customer needs and suggest suitable products or alternatives.
• Basic familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail operations.
• Well-developed organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic team-oriented retail environment.
• Availability to work on weekends, public holidays, and flexible shifts as needed.
• Fluency in English required; knowledge of Arabic or Russian is beneficial.
