Job description
Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Junior Auditor to join our team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves supporting financial audits and reviews, ensuring adherence to company policies, and identifying financial risks or inconsistencies.
Key Duties
- Assist in performing financial audits such as reviewing financial statements and verifying transactions to detect discrepancies.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Report audit observations and suggest corrective actions to management and help implement improvements.
- Contribute to the creation and update of audit procedures and programs.
- Conduct research and analyses to uncover potential financial risks and advise on mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with various teams to maintain consistency and correctness in financial data.
- Stay informed about changes in auditing standards, regulatory updates, and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 1 to 2 years experience in auditing, ideally within a public accounting firm or corporate environment.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented individual capable of working autonomously and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-moving and dynamic workplace.
