Role Summary

The Sales Associate acts as the primary face of the Coach brand. This role involves providing high-end, personalized customer service, achieving sales targets, and contributing to daily store operations. It requires a balance of luxury retail expertise, omni-channel sales capabilities, and teamwork to build brand loyalty and drive revenue growth.

Main Responsibilities

  • Serve as a brand ambassador by consistently following the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Establish and nurture customer relationships through personalized fashion advice, styling, and in-depth product knowledge.
  • Boost sales performance by employing cross-selling, upselling, and customized recommendations.
  • Leverage mobile POS systems, clienteling software, and social selling channels, including short-form video, to enhance customer engagement and data collection.
  • Create and follow personalized sales strategies, aiming to meet or surpass individual and store KPIs.
  • Prospect and onboard new clients while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships to close sales effectively.
  • Maintain high energy levels on the shop floor, adeptly managing multiple customers and tailoring sales techniques to business demands.
  • Complete operational duties such as cash handling, inventory processing, restocking, and visual merchandising while upholding service excellence.
  • Keep the sales floor and stockroom organized, clean, and well-stocked, following all retail policies and asset protection guidelines.
  • Process various transactions promptly, including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups.
  • Support inventory management activities, including receiving shipments and organizing product movement.
  • Assist colleagues across different functions when needed.
  • Promote a collaborative, trust-filled work environment that encourages team performance.
  • Engage in brand initiatives, training, and inclusion efforts.
  • Demonstrate adaptability, openness to feedback, and maintain professionalism under pressure.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year in sales, preferably within luxury retail; familiarity with current fashion trends and competitor brands.
  • Experience operating point-of-sale systems, basic computer skills including iPad/laptop use, mobile POS platforms, and walkie-talkies; ability to read pricing and release documentation.
  • Strong command of English language.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Preferred but not mandatory: Background in luxury retail, proficiency with social media, experience in live-stream selling or video demonstrations, plus clienteling and data capture expertise.

Work Schedule

Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, peak retail periods, and high-traffic days as required by business needs.

Compensation

Annual base salary ranges from €28,275 to €30,000, reflecting full-time equivalent pay and adhering to EU Pay Transparency guidelines. Actual pay is determined objectively based on role-related criteria. Part-time compensation is adjusted proportionally.
