Role Overview

The Sales Associate acts as the brand's frontline representative, delivering exceptional and personalized customer service. This role merges luxury retail expertise with omni-channel sales tactics and teamwork to enhance brand loyalty and contribute to store revenue.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as an ambassador for Coach, adhering to the brand's Style and Service guidelines.
  • Forge enduring client relationships through personalized styling advice, product knowledge, and fashion expertise.
  • Increase sales by employing cross-selling, upselling, and customized recommendations.
  • Leverage mobile POS systems, clienteling software, and social selling platforms including short-form video content to capture customer data and promote repeat business.
  • Set and pursue individual sales objectives as well as collaborate to meet team KPIs.
  • Engage with new customers, nurture relationships, and follow through to close sales transactions.
  • Maintain a lively store environment by managing multiple customer interactions and adapting sales approaches as needed.
  • Perform daily tasks such as cash wrap duties, inventory handling, restocking, and visual merchandising in line with service standards.
  • Ensure the retail space and stockroom are tidy, organized, and fully supplied; comply with retail policies, POS operations, and asset protection protocols.
  • Efficiently process purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups.
  • Support inventory cycles including receiving shipments and stocking shelves.
  • Assist teammates across various store functions as necessary.
  • Encourage a cooperative and trustworthy team atmosphere that motivates performance.
  • Participate actively in brand-driven initiatives, training sessions, and inclusion programs.
  • Receive and integrate feedback positively, maintaining composure and professionalism at all times.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of one year sales experience, preferably within luxury retail; familiarity with fashion trends and competitive landscape.
  • Proficient with POS systems, general computer skills (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS), and walkie-talkie operation; ability to interpret pricing and product release information.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Capability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving retail environment.
  • Preferred background includes luxury retail experience, familiarity with social media engagement, live-stream shopping or video demonstrations, clienteling abilities, and proficiency in data collection.

Work Schedule

Must be available to work a flexible schedule that accommodates business demands, including evening shifts, weekends, busy seasons, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
