Role Summary

The Sales Associate plays a crucial part in delivering superior eyewear and eye care experiences. This role ensures every customer receives outstanding service while supporting LensCrafters' reputation as the top vision care provider in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets and meet company goals by nurturing current customer relationships and generating new ones.
• Use optical prescriptions to recommend appropriate lenses and specialized lens coatings tailored to customer needs.
• Guide customers in selecting frames, matching style and fit based on optical measurements for optimal vision solutions.
• Perform optical measurements using proper tools and collaborate with Opticians when necessary.
• Actively contribute to a positive and professional store atmosphere by building strong working relationships with colleagues, management, and clinical staff.
• Maintain store appearance by organizing product displays and managing inventory cleanliness and orderliness.
• Promote an inclusive environment respecting all customers and team members.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent credential.
• Minimum one year of experience in retail or customer service roles.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, basic computer use, calculators, and solid phone and math skills.
• Adaptability to new technologies and changes, maintaining accuracy.
• Strong selling capabilities with accountability for meeting sales objectives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-driven with the ability to multitask and adapt swiftly in dynamic environments.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage ranges from $18.17 to $23.62 depending on factors such as location, experience, and credentials. The compensation package may also include bonuses or commissions, comprehensive benefits including healthcare, retirement plans, paid leave, and employee discounts.
