About the Role

Join H&T Group Ltd as a Sales Assistant in Crawley, the UK's premier pawnbroker and a leading jewellery and watch retailer with over 285 stores nationwide. This full-time position offers 37.5 working hours per week and requires availability with full flexibility across Monday to Sunday. You will be the welcoming face of the company, engaging with customers to understand their needs and providing tailored solutions to ensure an excellent experience every time.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer outstanding and friendly customer service with professionalism.
• Support customers in various services including pawnbroking, retail sales, and financial products.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and maintain the store’s presentation to high standards.
• Collaborate effectively with your team to surpass sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Process transactions accurately and securely.
• Multilingual abilities are advantageous given our diverse clientele, but not compulsory.

Requirements and Eligibility

No prior experience in pawnbroking is necessary. We seek individuals who have a genuine passion for helping people, a strong ethical compass, and a readiness to learn and thrive in a dynamic retail environment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting wage at £13.52 per hour (£26,363 per year) inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, rising to £13.69 per hour upon successful completion of training.
• Potential to earn discretionary bonuses up to £2,000 annually based on performance.
