About the Role

We are hiring a SailPoint QA & Automation Engineer responsible for overseeing all functional, integration, API, end-to-end, and automated tests related to SailPoint Identity Security Cloud implementations. This role requires expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) business functions, with a focus on validating intricate identity lifecycle events, aggregation processes, reconciliation, provisioning, role governance, integration, and compliance workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute detailed test plans, scenarios, and cases specifically for SailPoint ISC.
  • Conduct thorough testing of Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) end-to-end workflows.
  • Ensure accurate verification of identity creation, updates, disablement, and termination actions.
  • Validate processes involving aggregation, reconciliation, provisioning, and removal of access rights.
  • Assess automated retry logic, exception handling, and failure recovery mechanisms.
  • Test role-based access control including role governance, access profiles, entitlements, and access certification procedures.
  • Perform comprehensive API and integration testing for SailPoint and related systems.
  • Assess custom SailPoint connectors as well as file-based provisioning and reconciliation implementations.
  • Test system integrations involving Active Directory, human resource platforms, cloud services, databases, APIs, and other enterprise applications.
  • Develop automation scripts and frameworks for repetitive regression, API, and integration scenarios.
  • Conduct negative path testing, exception scenarios, data integrity checks, and failure mode analyses.
  • Verify audit trail completeness, compliance reporting accuracy, and operational control effectiveness.
  • Manage defect lifecycle through identification, tracking, and resolution; support regression testing and production readiness assessments.

Skill and Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience in QA and testing with specialized knowledge in SailPoint ISC or SailPoint IIQ platforms.
  • Solid understanding of IAM/IGA frameworks, including Joiner-Mover-Leaver cycle testing.
  • Expertise in provisioning, de-provisioning, aggregation, and reconciliation test cases.
  • Experience with role-based access control (RBAC), role governance, and access certification testing.
  • Proficiency in API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
  • Competency in SQL and database validations.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium or Playwright, using languages such as Java or Python.
  • Comprehensive understanding of enterprise end-to-end integration testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of defect tracking systems like Jira or equivalent platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct involvement in SailPoint ISC testing projects.
  • Familiarity with API automation integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Python-based automation expertise.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, especially AWS.
  • Background in testing integrations with Active Directory and HR systems.
  • Security and IAM testing proficiency.
  • Experience validating audit trails and ensuring regulatory compliance adherence.
