About Saikindō

Saikindō is an innovative Japanese-inspired bar inside the hotel, fusing authentic traditions with contemporary creativity in music, cocktails, and service. The venue aims to provide guests with sophisticated nightlife experiences through carefully curated design and thoughtfully crafted guest journeys. Role Overview

As the Saikindō Hostess, you will be the welcoming face for guests, crafting memorable experiences through attentive and outstanding hospitality. This role involves overseeing guest reception, managing reservations and seating, maintaining dining area standards, and collaborating closely with service staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and assist guests throughout their dining experience alongside the service team
• Control operations at the host stand, manage reservation logistics, and optimize table assignments
• Ensure cleanliness and presentation of dining sections, making improvements and verifying table setups prior to opening
• Gain in-depth knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, and restaurant details to inform and assist guests
• Support additional duties as delegated by supervisory and management personnel

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a hostess in luxury bar settings
• Completion of college-level education or comparable professional experience
• Previous exposure to high-end hotel hospitality environments is advantageous
• Understanding of food & beverage operations including service standards, cost and labor controls, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
• Competency in using computer and food & beverage management systems
• Proficiency in English communication (reading, writing, speaking)
• Familiarity with operational standards, cultural practices, and policies of luxury hospitality, preferably learned on the job
• A positive mindset with a collaborative and supportive team spirit
• Ability to anticipate guest needs proactively and prioritize effectively
• A dynamic and professional dedication to hospitality excellence
