Safety Supervisor

Overview

The Safety Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing safety protocols at the construction site. The role entails conducting thorough safety inspections, monitoring compliance with health and safety procedures, and promoting safe work practices among all personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of the construction site to identify hazardous conditions and unsafe behaviors.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, including Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA) or Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and client-specific safety requirements.
• Verify proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and encourage safe working methods.
• Organize and lead Toolbox Talks, safety briefings, and safety awareness initiatives for staff.
• Assist with reporting and investigating incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions to prevent recurrence.
• Oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive safety measures on-site.
• Inspect tools, equipment, tackles, and workplace environments to ensure they meet safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records related to HSE activities, including checklists and inspection documentation.
• Collaborate closely with site management teams and client HSE representatives to address safety concerns.
• Immediately report critical safety issues and ensure they are resolved promptly.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess an accepted degree only from one of the following institutions: Patna Institute, Narayana Institute, or Jharkhand Government Approved Institutions. Degrees from other institutions are not permitted.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges from INR 20,000 to INR 28,000.
