Role Overview

We are seeking a committed and service-oriented Runner who will be integral to supporting a premium dining experience that embodies RH's highest hospitality standards. This role acts as the bridge between the kitchen and dining area, ensuring that all culinary creations are presented and served with precision, care, and timeliness. Ideal candidates will be passionate about delivering outstanding guest service, excel in teamwork, and value excellence in every aspect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver an inviting atmosphere by consistently providing First Class Service
  • Lead the presentation and timely delivery of dishes to guests while ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Assist in managing the flow between kitchen and dining room by supporting the expediting process
  • Maintain organized and curated service spaces including polishing areas, service stations, and expediting line
  • Anticipate guest needs by helping clear, reset, and maintain tables during service
  • Uphold RH's standards through personal grooming, menu knowledge, and attention to detail
  • Adopt a team-centered approach by following the “Full Hands In, Full Hands Out” philosophy

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced environment dealing directly with guests or culinary support
  • English proficiency preferred for effective communication across international teams
  • Must hold legal work authorization in Canada at time of application
  • Meet minimum legal age requirements for alcohol service, shift work, and kitchen duties according to local laws
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts

Physical Demands

  • Ability to frequently lift and maneuver up to 25 kilograms using appropriate methods and equipment
  • Comfortable standing and walking continuously for more than 8 hours during shifts
  • Committed to maintaining safety and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting
