Job description
About This Role
Contribute to the smooth functioning of Loddon Region Prisons by accurately managing staff schedules. You will plan rosters up to six weeks in advance and adapt daily to staffing changes, using your rostering expertise to support prison operations effectively. This is an ongoing, full-time position with an annual salary range of $81,496 to $98,955 plus superannuation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and distribute precise fortnightly rosters up to six weeks ahead.
- Modify rosters to accommodate leave, absences, and operational requirements.
- Keep confidential employee and roster data up to date using TimeTarget and related systems.
- Verify timesheets, resolve scheduling conflicts, and prepare management reports.
- Offer clear rostering guidance and escalate complex issues to your team leader.
Candidate Profile
A qualification in human resources, finance, or business administration is highly preferred but not mandatory.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience with rostering systems such as TimeTarget, Humanforce, or Kronos.
- Understanding of workplace awards and agreements relevant to staff scheduling.
- Knowledge in rostering, HR, or payroll along with strong Excel and data management skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and effective teamwork skills.
