Job description
Position Summary
This role involves completing closing tasks such as storing reusable goods, dismantling goods, cleaning equipment and work areas, returning tools to their places, securing refrigerators, restocking, turning off lights, locking doors, and filling out daily cleaning checklists. Candidates will set up, stock, and maintain service areas while inspecting the cleanliness and presentation of china, glassware, and silverware before use. Maintaining cleanliness throughout the day by following clean-as-you-go procedures is essential.
Work Environment and Safety
Employees must follow all company safety and security protocols, promptly report accidents or unsafe conditions to management, and participate in safety training and certification programs. They are expected to maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information while safeguarding company assets.
Guest Interaction and Teamwork
Welcoming guests warmly and acknowledging them according to company standards is crucial. Effective communication using clear and professional language is required, including proper telephone etiquette. The role involves developing positive working relationships within the team, supporting collective goals, and responding appropriately to colleagues' concerns.
Physical Requirements
The position demands standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, as well as moving, lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently. Tasks also require fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for manipulating variously sized objects. The employee must be capable of navigating uneven, slippery surfaces and stairs or ramps, reaching overhead and below knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- No prior related work experience needed
- No supervisory experience required
- No licenses or certifications necessary
- Holding a Hawaii liquor card is advantageous
Work Schedule
The position is full-time with varying schedules.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay rate ranges from $16.00 to $17.38 per hour, and this role is eligible for tips. Benefits include healthcare, retirement plans, earned paid time off and sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and other wellness benefits, subject to eligibility and other company conditions.
