Job Overview
The Food Runner position involves completing closing duties such as securely storing reusable items, dismantling goods, thoroughly cleaning all equipment and designated areas, organizing equipment in their proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking supplies, turning off lights, securing doors, and filling out daily cleaning checklists. The role also requires setting up, stocking, and maintaining work areas and ensuring all tableware including china, glassware, and silverware is clean and presented properly before use. Maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift by following clean-as-you-go protocols is essential.

Physical Demands
The role involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or entire work shifts. Employees will need to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without help. Tasks require good hand-eye coordination, including grasping and manipulating variously sized objects. Navigating sloped, uneven, or slippery floors, stairs, and ramps is often required, as well as frequent reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping motions.
Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.). No prior related work or supervisory experience is necessary, and no licenses or certifications are required.
