Room Attendant

Position Overview

We are seeking diligent Room Attendants to join our team at Westin Hotels & Resorts located at 12 Marina View, Asia Square Tower 2, Singapore. This full-time, non-management role involves maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms to ensure an exceptional experience aligned with our wellness brand mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to requests from guests and various departments.
• Prepare and transport carts stocked with cleaning supplies to designated areas.
• Access guest rooms following proper protocols to confirm vacancy before entry.
• Replenish guest amenities and supplies as needed in each room.
• Remove used linens and terry cloth items; replace with clean ones.
• Make beds and fold terry linens neatly.
• Clean bathrooms thoroughly, disposing of trash, used linens and room service items appropriately.
• Inspect rooms ensuring all appliances are present and functional; tidy desk items, furniture, and fixtures.
• Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties including both guest rooms and corridors.
• Adhere strictly to company safety, security, and maintenance policies; report hazards or incidents; complete required safety training.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance while safeguarding confidentiality.
• Welcome guests warmly, anticipate and address their needs, including offering assistance to individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members to achieve shared goals.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting objects up to 25 pounds independently, items exceeding 25 pounds with assistance, maneuvering housekeeping carts over various surfaces, and frequent bending, twisting, stooping, standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking during shifts.
• Execute additional job-related duties as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• No formal education requirement; high school diploma or G.E.D. not mandatory.
• No prior experience needed; all training will be provided.
• No supervisory experience or licenses/certifications required.
