Role Summary and Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize cleaning carts and storerooms daily, ensuring supplies are adequate and well maintained.
• Maintain cleanliness by washing windows, doors, walls, closets, and fixtures in guest rooms and public areas regularly.
• Use appropriate tools such as ladders to clean hard-to-reach places safely.
• Sanitize bathroom areas, including showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and walls meticulously.
• Restock room amenities like towels, soaps, and literature to meet hotel standards for incoming guests.
• Manually clean hard floor surfaces such as tile and linoleum to remove dirt and stains.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and wall decorations, paying attention to vents and ceiling corners.
• Change bed linens, inspecting mattresses and bedding for cleanliness and replacing when necessary.
• Ensure closets are clean, restocked with guest supplies like hangers and extra blankets, and maintain door and handles.
• Vacuum carpets in rooms and communal areas thoroughly, including underneath furniture and tight spaces.
• Inspect doors and windows for secure locks; report unsafe conditions promptly for safety assurance.
• Check room equipment (e.g., TV, lamps, faucets, docking stations) and report defects for timely repairs.
• Safeguard all equipment, keys, and supplies in your custody to protect hotel property.
• Maintain a courteous, positive attitude during all interactions.
• Clean outdoor spaces such as patios and balconies, including sweeping floors and wiping furniture.
• Assist colleagues and other departments as needed to enhance hotel performance.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by supervisors or management.

Candidate Qualifications

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible work ethic.
• Ability to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions effectively, with strong communication skills.
• Professional and clean appearance.
• Must successfully pass background verification.
• Physical capability to maneuver a loaded cleaning cart weighing up to 50 lbs across hallways and closets all day.
• Physical stamina for frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and repeated floor movements.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Prior experience in housekeeping or related roles is mandatory.
