Job Overview

We are currently looking for a dependable and skilled Roofer to join our on-site team for a full-time position. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing and gutter systems while collaborating closely with site supervisors and fellow team members to uphold our standards and comply with project specifications and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of roof frameworks and determine material requirements for upcoming tasks.
• Install, repair, and service roofing systems and gutters effectively and safely.
• Carry out carpentry tasks related to roof structures and associated building elements.
• Fit insulation materials inside roofs and roof cavities.
• Use hand and power tools typical of roofing and construction work.
• Keep the worksite tidy and communicate progress or issues clearly to the team.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of two years hands-on roofing experience covering installation, repair, and upkeep.
• Mandatory certifications: Valid White Card (General Construction Induction Card) and current Work at Heights certificate.
• Proven trade skills in roofing or carpentry.
• Strong adherence to safety protocols, especially when working at heights.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job locations throughout North Ryde.
• Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in roofing, carpentry, or related construction field is highly desirable.
• Good attention to detail, dependability, and effective communication skills, including working in diverse weather conditions.
