Overview
SportPlex in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Rock Climbing Instructor to join their team. The role involves providing safe, engaging, and progressive climbing and bouldering sessions tailored to participants of varying ages and skill levels, with a focus on children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead climbing and bouldering sessions ensuring safety and enjoyment.
- Coach and develop participants' climbing abilities.
- Supervise climbing walls and conduct safety inspections.
- Manage groups effectively and maintain a positive atmosphere.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possession of a recognized climbing, bouldering, or climbing wall instructor certification.
- Proven experience teaching climbing skills and overseeing indoor climbing activities.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience working with children and youth.
- Thorough understanding of climbing safety protocols, equipment checks, and emergency procedures.
- Certified in First Aid and safeguarding training.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and group-management skills.
- Proficient in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, school vacations, and camp periods.
