Robotics Teacher

About the Role

At Openhouse, Teacher Partners conduct engaging and interactive Robotics lessons aimed at children, fostering technology, problem-solving, and fundamental engineering knowledge through hands-on projects and experiments. This role emphasizes responsibility for tracking student progress, enhancing the parent experience, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high-quality Robotics lessons utilizing Openhouse's curriculum, guiding students in practical activities, project building, and introducing basic coding concepts as applicable.
• Consistently monitor student growth, document advancement, and communicate insightful feedback to parents and management via periodic reports.
• Engage with parents during feedback meetings, workshops, and events; support administrative efforts like student trials and admissions in coordination with management.
• Organize and coach students for project presentations at showcases and events; actively participate in training sessions and team assemblies.

Candidate Profile

• Passionate about engaging children with robotics and technological concepts.
• Holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
• Eager to work with children aged between 5 and 12 years.
• Possesses foundational knowledge of practical electronics and coding.
• Experience in teaching robotics, coding, or STEM subjects to children is advantageous.

Working Schedule

Commit to 20 hours weekly spread over any 5 days, with 4-hour shifts per chosen day. Available timing slots include 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on weekdays and 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM during weekends.

Location Details

Classes take place at various locations across Bangalore, including learning centers and apartment complexes. Placement will be assigned aligned with your location preference.

Compensation

Monthly remuneration ranges between 20,000 to 35,000 INR.
