Art Teacher

About the Role

As an Art Teacher Partner at Openhouse, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality art lessons to children. You will take charge of monitoring student progress, enhancing the parent experience, and fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages creativity through various art mediums.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and execute art classes using the prescribed Openhouse curriculum, covering activities such as drawing, painting, crafts, and mixed-media projects.
• Observe and document each student's development, providing consistent, constructive feedback to parents and management via regular reports.
• Engage actively with parents during feedback sessions, workshops, and events to strengthen community involvement.
• Collaborate with management to facilitate student trials and admissions as needed.
• Prepare students for artistic showcases, exhibitions, and events; conduct rehearsals and participate in training sessions and team meetings.

Candidate Profile

• Passionate about teaching art to children and facilitating creative exploration.
• Strong skills in communication and effective classroom management.
• Experience in teaching art to children is preferred but not mandatory.

Schedule & Location

• Work for any five days per week, totaling 20 hours (4 hours per day).
• Available time slots: Weekdays from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM; Weekends from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
• Classes are held at various locations across Bangalore including learning centers and apartment complexes, with site assignments based on preference.
