Robotics Researcher

Role Overview

We are seeking a Robotics Researcher to join a client’s team full-time, focusing on enhancing autonomous navigation systems for industrial robotic platforms. The position involves designing and advancing algorithms in sensor fusion and real-time decision-making to push the boundaries of robotic autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement perception algorithms that integrate multiple sensor types in changing environments.
• Develop and improve path planning and motion control for both robotic arms and mobile robots.
• Oversee experimental validation of robotic systems through simulation and practical field tests.
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to transition research prototypes into fully operational systems.
• Contribute to the academic community by publishing research in recognized conferences and journals.

Qualifications

• Holds a Master’s or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Possesses over five years of direct experience in robotics research focusing on autonomy or robotic manipulation.
• Skilled in programming with C++ and Python for algorithm development and system integration.
• Experienced in simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), sensor fusion, or reinforcement learning as applied to robotics.
• Familiar with ROS/ROS2, Gazebo, or comparable simulation frameworks.

Compensation
