Role Overview
The RN Nurse Recruiter plays a critical role in sourcing and hiring qualified nursing professionals to fulfill staffing requirements within healthcare settings.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partner closely with hiring managers and nursing leadership to attract highly skilled candidates.
- Create and execute recruitment strategies targeting high-demand and challenging nursing roles.
- Manage recruitment data effectively, utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for streamlined workflow.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive candidate information professionally.
- Support diversity hiring initiatives, fostering an inclusive workforce in healthcare.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess nursing credentials such as LPN, ADN, BSN, or MSN.
- Bring 3-5 years of recruiting experience, including a minimum of 2 years within healthcare recruitment.
- Preferred to hold certifications in nursing specialties or human resources.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Demonstrate persistence, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Show strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Proficient in using Excel, Word, and ATS platforms for data and recruitment management.
