Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled professional to join our Transport and Logistics Practice team based in Tauranga. This hybrid position requires onsite presence at least three days per week. The role involves co-managing a portfolio of prominent accounts within the Transport, Logistics, Warehousing, and Machinery sectors. You will collaborate closely with senior client executives and the New Zealand manager to deliver high-quality service, enhance client relationships, and support profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate in managing a diverse portfolio of industry-specific client accounts, assisting client executives with efficient service and account oversight.
- Support senior client executives and management in presenting and maintaining client portfolios.
- Proactively identify and address client needs, adhering to established service standards.
- Prepare necessary documentation such as client placement and renewal reports, insurer submissions, and related spreadsheets.
- Develop and sustain long-term, effective relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations.
- Contribute actively to team and organizational growth by retaining clients, seeking new business, and generating additional revenue streams.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry.
- Possession of the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5).
- Strong comprehension of client risk management and their insurance requirements.
- Experience in account management support, claims handling, and policy administration.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience managing transport, logistics, warehousing, or machinery-related accounts.
- Proven ability to nurture robust relationships with clients and insurers.
- Background in leadership roles or skills in negotiation, presentation, broking, or project management.
