Overview
Join KPMG's team in Canada in the role of Risk Administrator based in Regina, Saskatchewan. This position is part of the Risk Delivery Centre's National team, supporting internal clients nationwide. The main responsibility is to facilitate internal risk management by managing workflows and securing necessary approvals during client and engagement acceptance.
Key Responsibilities
- Review information about entities and opportunities submitted by Partners and engagement teams, actively following up on incomplete or unclear data.
- Ensure that all required compliance and risk information is collected and verify any missing items with engagement teams.
- Handle submission of risk approval documents, monitor approval progress, and investigate any inconsistencies.
- Serve as the primary contact for queries from Partners and engagement teams regarding risk requests.
- Administer and organize a work queue, assigning tasks to oneself via ticketing software.
- Stay up to date with changes in policies and procedures, collaborating with peers to resolve issues.
- Make informed decisions independently while providing best practice guidance as appropriate.
- Gradually develop expertise in KPMG’s risk management processes.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and a collaborative mindset to meet turnaround goals and uphold high service standards.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education from college or university in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 to 5 years of experience operating in fast-paced environments, showing strong client understanding and teamwork orientation.
- Preference for candidates with a background in regulatory environments.
- Experience working with ticket-based management systems is considered a plus.
- Adaptability to evolving environments and motivation for high-volume task challenges.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and effectively collaborate within a large team framework.
- Business-level proficiency in English is required; bilingual English-French abilities are advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range offered is between $47,000 and $71,500 annually, with potential eligibility for bonus rewards. Actual salary is influenced by location, skill set, competencies, and qualifications. KPMG provides a comprehensive rewards package.
