Your Role as Store Manager
Lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver exceptional customer experiences within our retail environment. Manage daily operations, including team coaching, recruitment, stock control, and fostering a safe workplace culture. Promote a positive and inclusive in-store atmosphere that encourages team engagement and fun.
Key Responsibilities
- Model leadership by mentoring and motivating the team daily.
- Develop your team's skills and knowledge through coaching.
- Ensure exceptional customer service consistently.
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture.
- Recruit, onboard, and integrate high-quality new team members.
- Manage stock with accuracy and adherence to integrity processes.
- Stay current on pet care products and services to provide expert guidance.
- Support local marketing initiatives and sponsorships proactively.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a retail store leadership role or readiness to advance in retail management.
- Proven motivation to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Effective leadership skills to build and motivate high-performing teams within a positive culture.
- Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities to ensure timely task completion.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
- Good business insight and adaptability to changing work conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport with customers and team members.
